Friends in the last blog you heard me working for kirloskar electric company, Further more i decide to continue on the same lines as i am eager to pen down what a company can bestow you as an employee.
Joined the company as an graduate entry level trainee on 22nd Oct 2008, My first day when i happened to enter the gates of the company in my new blue colored uniform.Felt little awkward initially but seeing two more friends with the same stupid uniform put a smile on my face (chalo koi to hai sathmein sikneko).
Maximum people in the company are around the age of my dad which made me more nervous but yes i was anxious to break open the ice layer for good, thus started my days of training where i used to wander in the shop floor(as it is called), We had orientation program for a week when we used to meet people of different departments and interact o learn the process of manufacturing of machines, methods used and tried to understand the whole of the production line.Of course it was a difficult task to be clear on what was taught as we were being flooded with a lot of knowledge at a time which we felt was going undigested.
Then was the time after weeks launder that we were put up in respective departments for on job training. My department was MACHINE BASED SYSTEM it was basically a project group,a group of five people with a General manager to report.
At this point i should for sure mention about my first boss M.N.Madhusudan the gem or jewel of technical expertise, one should definitely appreciate tat man's knowledge my god i admire him a lot,man with hands on all spheres of electrical and electronics subjects.
It was my fortune to get trained under such a pioneer(of course we were a grilled sandwich under him but for good).
Slowly and patiently i started understanding about the turnkey projects we used to handle and different stages of the same, my participation in all the stages increased day by day which made me feel good about myself.
I happened to attend meetings with people at higher positions in both public and private sectors and sky was the limit of learning. The more the pressure on you to perform and work the more you feel that your career is on the right track.
It was then that i seriously considered the path of projects for myself and with almost 14 months passed in that area i wanted to pursue a management degree in the same area so that i could become like my boss.
So is the aim caught me up at the high time and i geared up for my PG exam,I wanted myself a seat in NICMAR PUNE in project engineering management stream, which has only 75-80 seats, i am proud that i used to work all day and study till 2 in the morning and get back ti he office too,its because of yesterday's efforts that i ended up bagging a seat in the college where i wanted.
All i need to put across is that in my life now and ever after i would always remember my mother company for all it has given to me.My career path of projects is because of my work,my company and my boss.
I hope to perform to the best of my abilities and achieve higher targets of my life and let the success stories keep coming in this blog.
